The Windows version requires 64-bit Windows 10 or 11. We will keep version 8.80.1 available for those few people still running 32-bit Windows 10.
The Mac version requires macOS 13 (Ventura), 14 (Sonoma), 15 (Sequoia), 26 (Tahoe), or 27 (Golden Gate). We will keep earlier Transcribe! versions available for people running earlier versions of macOS.
It is free to existing users : it will recognise your license key and you shouldn't need to enter it again.

Changes:
- We have added a new, better sounding, method of applying speed and pitch changes. It uses a bit more CPU but in the unlikely event that your computer can't keep up, you can choose whether to use it or not in Preferences - Playback - "High quality slowdown and tuning". You will notice the difference in various ways but especially in the handling of transients when slowing down.
- We have updated the version of GStreamer that we use to 1.28.7 (the most recent stable version at this date) (and to version 1.28.8 in Transcribe version 9.70.3).
- shift-click a loop in the Loop Line (see the View menu) will extend the current selection to include the clicked loop (as opposed to merely selecting the clicked loop, as happens without shift).
- Various other minor tweaks and bugfixes.
